Acer shirasawanum cultivation notes: This Acer will flourish in any fertile well drained soil. Plant in full sun / partial shade - avoiding very cold exposed areas. During winter trim shoots / branches that obscure trunk to reveal attractive bark, as well as all diseased dying and dead wood.
