Ajuga reptans - 'Burgundy Glow'' (Bugle)
Ajuga reptans description: This ground hugging evergreen plant makes ideal ground cover, forming a carpet of white -green foliage with a red 'Glow'. Ajuga produces small spikes of dark blue flowers early summer. Ideal as edging plant or ground cover under shrubs / trees.
Ajuga reptans cultivation notes: Ajuga requires little maintenance spreading naturally into a low growing dense weed suppressing matt. Flourishing on most soils it is hardy, growing in full sun or under partial shade - a good low input all-rounder for under planting / shady groundcover.
