Bergenia crassifolia description: Bergenia provides a cover of handsome fleshy evergreen foliage - making it ideal for low maintenance planting. Masses of pink / purple flowers are borne in spring, and foliage turns red / brown in winter. 40cm tall x 40cm.

Bergenia crassifolia cultivation notes: This herbaceous evergreen will flourish whether planted in full sun or shade. Bergenia prefers flourishes in most soils - poor soils encourage winter leaf colouring. Avoid planting in exposed locations. Mulch in winter - trim dead / diseased leaves.
