Humulus lupulus - Cultivation Notes

The golden hop is a fast growing deciduous climber that will rapidly cover trellis or pergolla with its impressive golden foliage. It will also tend to swamp out less vigorous plants if it is not kept in check and will flourish in most garden soils as long as they are not to wet. Protect the root crown from the sun and cut back hard and mulch in winter.
