This deciduous small tree bears white - pink goblet shaped flowers. Spring blossom gives way to green foliage, however this trees spreading multi- stemmed structure makes it an attractive specimen - even when not flowering - 4.5m x 3m
Cultivation notes: Magnolia requires fertile well drained soil- avoiding chalk. Flowers are damaged by frost / wind - so plant under shelter in full / partial sun. Prune out dead / shape in late summer. Mulch annually
