This curious relative of the mallow is a climbing herbaceous plant that will come back year on year and either spread over open ground or grow up surrounding plants. Typically it will grow to around 30cm and will flower continuously through out mid - late summer with masses of pink through to peach coloured blossom.

Best grown in fertile well drained soil in a sheltered sunny location, Malvastrum should come back year on year. Ideal towards the front of the border where it can be seen either scrambling over open ground or climbing over surrounding plants.
