Persicaria cultivation notes: Preferring any moist and relatively fertile, Knotweed will flourish in full sun or part shade. Making great ground cover for shady areas, but beware of invasive roots. Mulch every 2/3 years plus divide if scraggily.

Plant Strengths: Attractive autumn colour; All round tough plant suitable for problem areas; Tolerates full sun and sandy, drought-prone soils; Tolerates cold exposed locations; Tolerates heavy clay soils.
