Photinia x fraseri cultivation notes: This large evergreen shrub prefers a sandy fertile soil on a neutral or acid soil, but not chalk. Position in sun or part shade. This shrub gets quite large so give it plenty of space, ideally at the back of a border or as an informal evergreen hedge..
