Picea breweriana cultivation notes: Spruce will tolerate any soil other than the very chalky soil or overly moist / wet. They require a spot in full but prefer the company of other trees being well suited to woodland / mixed planting. Most of these evergreen conifers will grow quickly so allow plenty of space and plant away from the house.
