Acer Campestre description: Field Maple is a hardy small / medium sized native tree ideal for including in a native hedge or growing as an specimen on a variety of soils and conditions. It has attractive palmate leaves which turn a brilliant golden yellow in autumn.
Acer Campestre cultivation notes: This native tree flourishes on most soil types and will tolerate extremes of cold. It is well suited to naturalistic woodland / hedgerow planting being suited to all but the harshest of environments. Avoid planting under heavy shade
