Anemone hupehensis - Cultivation Notes

Anemome will tolerate any moist yet well drained soil, including fertile chalky soils. Prefers planting in a humus rich soil with plenty of compost, and a position in full sun or dappled shade. Winter mulching helps improve vigor, but do not disturb root system once established and avoid dividing established clumps.
