Lavatera maritima cultivation notes: This shrub grows incredibly fast and produces proditious ammounts of summer blossom. However fast growth leads to a short life and an ability to hog bed space. Plant in any well drained soil in a sunny sheltered spot and prune back excessive growth in autumn.
