Salvia officinalis - Cultivation Notes

This hardy Salvia requires a sheltered warm location in full sun. This is a culinary sage so well suited to planting as part of a herb garden. Tolerates hot dry conditions and flourishing on most decent free draining garden soils, including chalky or sandy soils. Trim to shape in autumn in necessary and allow plenty of space to this spreading fast growing sub shrub. 75cm tall x 100cm.
