Sedum rupestre cultivation notes: This alpine Sedum is well suited to planting at the front of the border or in a container where it will cope with the most demanding dry soils in full sun. Ideally they prefer a soil with low fertility that is well drained all year round, being well suited to planting in gravel beds among other low alpine plants.

Plant Strengths: Sun loving draught tolerant plant; All round tough plant suitable for problem areas; Evergreen foliage for all year round colour and screening; Suitable for container growing; Architectural plant – ideal as a ‘stand out’ plant; Suitable for exposed coastal planting; Attractive form or foliage for all year interest.

Plant Weaknesses: Does not produce attractive flowers.
