Verbascum bombyciferum cultivation notes: The Mullien chalk grows best on chalk- but it will tolerate most fertile well drained soils - preferring a sheltered position in full sun. Stake taller flower spikes. Leave spikes over winter if sheltered, as they look good, and will self seed
