5 plants found in genus "Abutilon"
Abutilon is a genus of about 150 trees, shrubs and herbs that are native to tropical and sub tropical regions. Cultivated species and cultivars are mostly part hardy in the UK. Fast growing shrubby Abutilon's are much prized for their ability to tolerate a hot dry spot, being well suited to wall planting and they produce attractive bell shaped flowers throughout the summer. Many abutilon's have very attractive maple like foliage and Abutilon is traditionally used as a spot plant within annual bedding schemes and planters.
