Albizia is a genus of attractive small trees and climbing plants often commonly known as Silk trees. The foliage is very finely cut and Mimosa like. Albizia also has colourful fluffy flower heads. There are around 150 species native to the tropics and south America being not fully hardy and short lived in the UK.
