Dicentra Plants
3 plants found in genus "Dicentra"
Dicentra, commonly known as 'Bleeding Heart' is a genus of shade loving herbaceous perennials that are suited to a woodland planting location. Dicentra are planted for their soft tiered foliage and spreading and arching form and spreading flower spikes, which appear in mid - late spring. Dicentra is something of a 'must have' for woodland planting if you have the right conditions; Dicentra will not appreciate a cold exposed or full sun location, and also requires a relatively moist humus rich soil.
