Aesculus x carnea - Cultivation Notes
This smaller showier cousin of the native horse chestnut is more suited to planting urban gardens, producing a proffusion of white pink spring blossom and becoming a much tidier compact medium sized tree. Plant in most fertile well drained soils in sun or part sun ideally in full sun as a specimen.
