Clematis jacmanii - Cultivation Notes
This climber will flourish in full sun or partial shade. Clematis prefer their roots to be kept cool - so avoid really hot dry locations and plant roots in a shady spot and plant 3 -4 inches below the soil level. Tie young growth into support and trim to shape after flowering. Mulch soil surface with compost in autumn avoiding base of stem.
