Fagus sylvatica - Cultivation Notes

This large native tree is both hardy and tolerant! Flourishing on any well drained soil (avoid heavy clays mind) Fagus makes a great hedge if trimmed twice yearly. Plant in full sun in autumn, but be warned Beech gets big!
