This Fargesia grows taller than others in its Genus so you get a fine display of canes with masses of frothy light green leaves atop. The entire bush retains a reasonably compact form so you get the best of both worlds. In short tall, but not too tall and good looking too!
Fargesia nitida - Cultivation Notes
This popular evergreen bamboo grows best in light shade in moist fertile soils. It is larger than other Fargesia growing to around 3 metres. Avoid planting in exposed area in excessive sunny dry locations full. Ideal for nautralistic woodland planting or at the back of a border for tall screening.
