This spreading herbaceous perennial is fast growing, being well suited to the front of the border or at the edge of a path where it can spread. Nepeta is well matched with herbs and is much loved by bees.

Nepeta x faassenii - Cultivation Notes

Catmint hates cold wet soils, so always plant in a sunny location in any well drained garden soil or in a hot sheltered spot. Trim back after flowering and cut back hard in the autumn.
