This hardy Salvia requires a sheltered warm location in full sun. Tolerating hot dry conditions and flourishing on any decent free draining garden soil including chalky or sandy soils. Dead head / trim after flowering to encourage second autumnal flush of bloom and trim to shape in autumn in necessary.
