The hardy and reliable Crocosmia 'Lucifer' should be planted in autumn or spring in any moist well drained garden soil in full sun or part shade. Allow plenty of space as this is the largest and fastest growing of the crocosmia genus. Remove flower heads and trim back foliage in winter. Mulch in winter and replant.
